Hi, this is Jennifer Pope. I am on Team Dusk2Dawn. We are an adventure racing team out of Los Angeles, CA , and we just finished the Beast of the East adventure race in Virginia.

We came in second place for the four-person coed team division, and we were very pleased with what happened out there. We had a great time. The race was really, really challenging. This was my first long adventure race, and I'm just thrilled to have it — actually I'm thrilled to have it over at this point.

I'm very pleased with everything that happened. It was a great race. We were trying to get some experience. We would love to do some more longer races in the future, and this was a great, great way for us to figure out if we work well together as a team.

Our support crew was excellent; we couldn't have asked for more from them. We had a couple of little mishaps out there, but I think that's pretty normal. We got along pretty well for the most part also, and nobody's majorly injured, so it was a great success, and that's all from here. Bye.
