Hey there gang this is Scott Darsney, with Alpine Ascents International, with Luis Benitez, checking in on June 1st, at 9pm, from just below 10,000 feet on Denali.
We just spent a couple days carrying here. Everyone is feeling good and strong — all eight of us. We are having a lot of fun, Luis and I are having fun with the team here. And we hope to make 11,000 camp in a couple of days. And tomorrow we are going to kind of take it easy, just go down and get the rest of our cache, food and fuel, and head back up here to our camp.
Enjoying the weather, it's been a little bit of cloud, a little bit of sun, a little bit of cold and a little bit of hot. So nothing extreme in either direction. But we're dug in here now and ready for bed and we'll send another dispatch when we're back in cell range. Talk to you later, bye.
