Hey MountainZone, this is Matt Szundy and Tom Bridge reporting from approximately 16.5 on the West Buttress rib. We're enjoying a spectacular day today. It's warm. There's no wind on the ridge. Last night we camped at 16.2 in the snow caves and the platforms that are there, that we built. We're making the move up to 17, to High Camp, enjoying the weather. Bill's on summit day today, I think. You'll probably hear more about that later. So here's Tom; he'd like to introduce another member of the team. One second…

Tom Bridge:
Hello people! Wow, is it ever pretty up here. I guess Matt was introducing our team up at 17.2 last time and wasn't quite getting enough oxygen, so he forgot that we had another member. Or perhaps it was really the fact that Jackie built a "snow guy" and brought him to life with her incantations and he is now a full member of our expedition and that is Fred Peterson [growling in the background] Woah! Yeah!

Anyway, we're having a really nice time up here and we're really well logistically set up on the mountain right now. Matt and I did a front carry up to 17, so we've got four days of food up there and plenty of fuel, with a little bit more back at 16 and some at 11 for our journey down.

Wishing everybody a happy day and enjoying this beautiful weather we have up here. [muffled grumbling] I already did say his name, Fred Peterson! It's not Fred Peterson? [growling in the background] [guttural voice: "Fred Peterson!"] [Tom laughs] Anyway, ready Freddy! He's on our team; he's doing well.

We also managed to send back a team member with Willi's team that was not performing well and he didn't have adequate fitness for the climb. So, we're going to be missing him and thinking about him on his journey down to Basecamp, which it looks like it's a fine day to be traveling down to Basecamp today.

We'll hopefully have some nice weather tomorrow or the next day for our summit climb, so we'll talk to you later. Good bye.
