Hello, Mountain Zone. This is Robert Anderson calling from Camp III on the North Ridge of Mount Everest. The Sherpas I'm climbing with are Lhakpa Dorji and [Unintelligible] they're both here with me. The last couple of days we've been shoveling loads up from I to Camp II and then from Camp II on up to Camp III. The yaks couldn't go past Camp I so we've got a few extra days in between.

This morning we walked up to just below the North Col, at about 6800m. It's pretty windy and we really know it's wintertime up here because our fingers get cold pretty quickly. We've still got two dogs with us, though [Unintelligible] is all frozen and all of the water's [Unintelligible] the reception from down below hasn't been very good on the technical side. So, I'll probably be trying to update you from here and then when I go down to Camp I, which is our permanent ABC. You might not hear much from me in between.

We might be able to go North Col tomorrow, if we're real lucky. We get about seven hours of sunshine a day, which warms things up a bit. So looking forward to a bit of that tomorrow. That's everything from Camp III from Everest.
