It's a Bird, It's a Plane...It's an Otter!

Hi Mountain Zone, it's Wally Berg. I'm calling you at 1:10pm on a beautiful, absolutely clear day, June 25th. I'm watching the Twin Otter land on the glacier at this moment, and, as you might imagine, it's a beautiful sight for us.

Very successful expedition—for me personally, two very successful expeditions this month with Alpine Ascents on the glacier in Greenland: fantastic climbing as you can tell from our dispatches, great skiing, and we're thrilled at the accomplishment, but of course, happy to be flying back to Akureyri, Iceland this afternoon.

So this will close our dispatches from Greenland for this season, a very successful season, great mountaineering with great people on both trips. So I'll look forward to talking with you from Africa once we get started on the Kilimanjaro program. Bye for now.
