Wally Berg said that while the AAI team waits for flying weather, the members are able to take short walks, work out in a local gym, or hit the local pub, and otherwise try to enjoy the southern most city in the world.
"You constantly have the feeling, when you walk around this town, that you are at the ends of the earth... One of my favorite things to do is walk down to the pier or along the water anywhere, look out across the Straits of Magellan at the white-caps, and just get the feeling that you're in a port that leads to the rest of the world and a pretty wild place." —Wally Berg
But he admits the team members are on a "short leash" as they must be available at a moment's notice to grab their gear and board the Hercules aircraft for the exciting flight south. The aircraft is operated by Adventure Newtork International, and Wally in his latest dispatch takes the time to introduce some of the players in that most unusual business.

They are currently waiting for the weather report sent back after the weather satellite makes its pass over South America tonight.
