Fields Bloom in Annapurna
Wednesday, August 13, 1997 (Manang, Nepal)

Manang, what a beautiful place during this time of year, monsoon season. Everything is in bloom, alive and very colorful and in the village of Manang.

Manang Wildflowers

The biggest spectacle is the blooming of the buckwheat. Fields and fields of the most aromatic, beautiful, little pink flowers you will ever lay your eyes on, all surrounded of course by the mighty Annapurna mountain range. Truly one of the more beautiful places on earth this time of year.
