Mountain Zone, this is Dave Mencin with a report. It's about 9 o'clock on Monday night, the big day. All the climbers have moved to their next position. That means that Greg Wilson, Charles Corfield and Eric Simonson are at the South Col and sleeping and will be getting up within an hour to make their summit attempt. Wally Berg is at Camp III, also sleeping and getting up in one hour to move to Camp IV to support the summit attempt. All the climbers are in good health. The weather seems to be excellent for tomorrow with very, very little winds and little or no precipitation. So, expect hourly or so updates after they get up. Over.

David Mencin, Expedition Scientist
