Berg: we're feeling ok. We're all moving well, obviously. We've got a lot of time. [garbled audio then:] I am concerned about visibility and wind a little bit.

Blume: how far behind are the others right now? Can you see them?

Berg: they're all ok, but we rested on the higher part of the summit [that's the South Summit at 28,700'] and I can't see the other side. They're coming up on the South Summit...

Blume: who else is with you right now?

Berg: just Tapke. Just Tapke Sherpa and myself.

Blume: alright, man. You staying warm?

Berg: ya, you know it's not bad. Not too bad. [garbled audio... something about working with the GPS equipments and] gonna keep an eye on the others.

Blume: alright, we're standing by. You're doing great!

Berg: ok, it was good hearing you...
