In the Absolute Italian Championships he came in 25th place in 1997, 29th place in 1994, and 24th place in 1993. In 1994 he made first descents on a whitewater kayak expedition in the Albanian Alps. Giovanni has taken part in various cross-country races and biathlons in Italy. He has participated in many mountain bike races including: La Via dei Saraceni, Rampiloga and Roc d'Azur. He also holds a black belt in Karate. Giovanni also practices sea kayaking, downhill skiing and he organized motor bike trips in Moscow, the Moroccan desert, Tunisia and Peru. | ||
