In 1997 he came in 1st place in the II Valida National Mountaineering Competition. Jose played soccer from 1970-1981.

In 1994 she competed in the Hawaii Ironman and finished with a time of 12 hours and 43 minutes. Ana was the National Mountain Bike Champion from 1993-1995 and has kayaked in the Amazon.

Other: Ramon is a Guiness Record holder for the oldest man to climb Everest (8,848m) at 60 years and 180 days. He has summited Broad Peak(8,047m) in Pakistan and ascended to 8,013 meters on Mt. Shisha Pangma in Tibet when bad weather forced him down. His Mt. McKinley summit attempt was deterred at 6,194 meters due to poor weather as well. He has summited several 5,000+ meter peaks in Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina (including Aconcagua), Peru, France and Venezuela.
