Göran Kropp on Tour
In October 1995, Göran Kropp left Stockholm on a bicycle, towing 240 pounds of gear. On May 23, 1996, he reached the summit of Mt. Everest. Days later, he began bicycling back to Stockholm. This year, the Banff Mountain Book Festival Speaker Tour features Kropp's story, documented in the newly released book, Ultimate High. Kropp will be appearing at the following North American locations:
