THE STORY

Ben Nevis (1,660m, 5,450ft), in the central highlands of Scotland, is the highest mountain in Britian and is in a cloud most of the time (including when we tried to climb it). The origin of it's name is obscure, but theories include Venemous Mountain, Heavenly Mountain and Ugly Mountain.
