Athlete Bios: Snowboarding GS

Jasey Jay Anderson (CAN)
Birthplace: Val-Morin, QUE, CAN
Birthdate: April 13, 1975

Jasey has been on the race courses of the world for over 6 years. Known for his fearless style — Jasey lets everything out on the course and takes no prisoners. His natural talent, strong build, and constant training with Cross M have put Jasey on the winners stand in Europe, Japan, and North America.

Jasey took home ten grand from Mammoth on Jan. 29. This season, though was no different than last as Jasey podiumed more than he didn't. At the '96 Sugarloaf Grand Prix, Anderson got his first #1 finish of that year by a commanding four seconds.

Said Jasey Jay after the win, "If I toned it back a little bit, I am sure they would have had me." But, they never came close. "Snow conditions were great. You can really ride aggressive and just sink into the snow... it's the kind of riding I like," said Jasey Jay.

This was a kind of comeback from the World Cup at Whistler where he performed an under-rotated Misty Flip.

Jasey obviously "bounced" back — hear what he said about the crash.
