Athlete Bios: Snowboarding Halfpipe

Cara-Beth Burnside (USA)
Birthday: September 10, 1973
Birthplace: Orange, California
Years Riding: 7

Burnside is always a top competitor in the halfpipe. Champion of the 1996 US Open Big Air competition, Burnside grabbed two second places in 1997 big comps: the Snowmass Grand Prix and X-Games Slopestyle. She smoothly pulls of the big air technical moves.

Burnside thinks the Olympics will attract a new breed of snowboarder and will definitely change the sport.
