Birthday: Dec. 22, 1974
Home base: Tahoe City, CA.
Height: 6'
Weight: 168

Adam Hostetter came to the finals of the Bud Light U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix without having packed his bags in case he earned a trip to Nagano. After a stunning second run put him into the Olympics, he was able to stop off at home in Tahoe City, CA. for a brief party, a few hours of sleep and on to the airport in Reno for the trip to Nagano. A native of Cape Cod, MA, Hostetter grew up riding in New England, beginning at the age of 11 at Vermont's Stowe Resort. A strong rider, he enrolled at Sugarloaf, Maine's noted Carabasset Valley Academy for high school where he honed his snowboard racing skills. Today Hostetter rides for Jerry Masterpol's Cross M team, and MLY snowboards.
