Although Koznick's won the last three U.S. slalom championships, a frustrating string of ailments (knee, frostbitten toes, cranky back) have held back "Koz" internationally over the last few seasons. But the quick-footed slalom whiz showed at the end of last winter, after visiting a chiropractor in Salt Lake City who solved her medical riddles, she was back to being a solid international contender.
