Rasmussen, who turned his career around at his second Olympics when
he was second in combined at the '94 Winter Games in Lillehammer, went
down last January during the 67th Lauberhorn in Wengen, Switzerland, badly injuring his knee.
Coincidentally, his first World Cup victory had been two years earlier in
the 65th Lauberhorn, one of the sport's showcase downhills.
