		Prior to working in the film business, Kent Harvey worked as a climbing and mountaineering guide, as well as a ski patroller. Seven years ago, he decided to combine his passions for film and adventure. As a result, Harvey now travels around the world documenting both adventure and exploration, as well as working with great folks like the ones involved in the 1999 Shishapangma Ski Expedition. An incredible amount of work is put into this type of filmmaking and there are plenty of moments when Harvey sits in his tent enduring several days of stormy weather and wonders what he is doing.
