Good morning, Mountain Zone. This is Mark Holbrook from Kathmandu, Nepal. It's about 5:30 in the morning and I'm up early because I am excited; we're finally leaving Kathmandu, heading up to Tibet today. So, we'll be on the road taking new pictures, new things, and sending them in.

Yesterday was kind of hectic. We had to repack all our bags, take stuff out that we're going to need for the trek, and get our large, Base Camp, North Face duffel bags all loaded up and ready to head off in a truck. We had a pile filled high, it went up probably as high as Shishapangma. It took them about five, small truckloads to take them over to where they loaded into one big truck — they couldn't drive the big truck through town. So, like I say, about five loads to get everything over there. But, we're all psyched and ready to go.

Had a good meal last night, a little Italian food in the middle of Kathmandu and everybody's feeling fine. Nobody got sick the whole four or five days we've been here. Everybody seems pretty healthy and we're all psyched for the trek in to Base Camp, to get settled there and then start looking at that mountain and determining how we're going to climb the thing.

We'll be sending you some more photos here soon. So, we'll stay in touch. Thank you, bye.
