Three Ride Horseback & Two Run

On Horseback, On Foot
One of the most unique events in the Eco-Challange is the Ride & Run. This chapter of the race gives the team of five, three horses and a rule that doubling up on a horse is not allowed. Compromise, sacrifice, understanding, compassion, patience and foresight, are all mandatory in avoiding hostility and discontent among the members of the team. Having to ford and swim across icy rivers is unexpected on this portion of the 300-mile race.
