We would like to welcome you to the Warren Miller Films Home Page. Warren Miller Films is a full-service film and video production company and the oldest of the four divisions that comprise Warren Miller Entertainment.

Over fifty years ago, Warren Miller, made his first film. He used a borrowed Bell & Howell camera and in 1949 while on location at Sun Valley, Idaho he created a simple film that uniquely showcased a sport that many Americans had never seen before - downhill skiing. From that auspicious beginning he had unknowingly started what would become an institution for the sport of skiing and arguably, the invention of extreme and enthusiasts sports filmmaking.

During the past ten years, the company has experience tremendous growth. We currently produce features, television specials and series, commercial, industrials, CD ROMs, and Internet-related products. The company is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado with sales and distribution offices in Australia, the U.K., Canada, Scandinavia and France.

In 1999, Warren Miller Films celebrated the 50th anniversary of its annual feature film. We look to our past with great pride and to our future with great excitement. We have been told countless times what a positive impact our annual feature film has had on the lives of its viewers. Our annual ski and snowboard films are essentially celebrations, thrilling illustrations of what life can be like if it is lived with passion. It is this same passion that our production group puts into their work every day.
